On Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, The Haverford Civic Association (“HCA”) will hold its annual event in Sharpe Park, located on the corner of Montgomery Avenue and Station Road in Haverford.
Everyone in the community is welcome: residents, business personnel, students, families, children, etc. As part of our outreach, the HCA holds this gathering to foster community spirit and to highlight our neighborhood gem, Sharpe Park, which serves as our stage for a fun filled evening for people of all ages.
The 2013 event will feature food, a face painter for the children, a fortune teller for everyone, caricaturist and prize drawings. You will also be able to meet and greet representatives of the Lower Merion police department and volunteers from Merion Fire Company of Ardmore. Our three township commissioners will also be there: Steven K. Lindner of Ward 4, Cheryl B. Gelber, Esq. of Ward 5 and V. Scott Zelov of Ward 10.\
Our fun, family-oriented gathering will also be covered by the local press and displayed on our website. So mark your calendars and join us for this annual event and please consider membership in the Haverford Civic Association.
