Tuesday, February 14 – 7 p.m. <new time this year!

Haverford Civic Association held its regular monthly board meeting. Agenda items included the potential development of the Haverford train station, the issue of traffic safety on Montgomery Avenue and the recent meeting, tree planting at Sharpe Park, and a potential date for an Art in Sharpe Park event.

HCA 2022 Annual Meeting!

HCA host our annual membership meeting on Tuesday, January 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the Merion Cricket Club. We heard from John Schwarz, President of Bryn Mawr Hospital; Jeanine DiTomasso, Narberth Ambulance; and our commissioners. Great discussions! We also elected our officers for 2023. December 2022 Board Meeting

Tuesday, December 12 – 7:30 p.m.

Haverford Civic Association held its regular monthly board meeting. The primary focus of the agenda was preparation for the Annual Meeting. The commissioners provided some updated.

November 2022 Board Meeting

Tuesday, November 15, 2022 – 7:30 p.m.

Haverford Civic Association held its regular monthly board meeting. Agenda items included the Annual Meeting to be held in November, including the need to nominate officers to fill the pending vacancies. The board reviewed some of the information on the options for township storm water management fees provided via the Federation of Civics, and the commissioners provided updates. We were honored to have two members of the Lower Merion School District board of directors with us!

HCA 2021 Annual Meeting & “Ask the Commissioners”!

Tuesday, November 9, 2021 – 7:30 p.m.

Our speakers were our Commissioners, Scott Zelov, Anthony Stevenson, and Ray Courtney, providing updates and taking questions.

We learned about development in our community and efforts to revitalize Haverford Station, with updates on the Pennswood Bridge and other projects, as well as a discussion about the potential uses of American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds.
