Meetings

Board meetings of the Haverford Civic Association are held the second Tuesday of each month, September through June, at 7 p.m. in the Merion Room of the Merion Cricket Club located at 325 Lancaster Avenue. We encourage all Association members and our Haverford neighbors to attend.

The Association’s annual meeting is held in November, also at the Merion Cricket Club, to report to the membership and elect officers and board members for the coming year. A guest speaker, typically a township official or community leader, is invited to address the membership.

Commissioners’ Reports

Hear directly from your elected local government officials and township staff. The Lower Merion Township Commissioners who represent Haverford regularly attend our meetings and report on the latest developments. They are there to listen as well as talk.

Federation of Civics

We also get updates on goings on in other parts of the township. Haverford Civic Association is a member of the Federation of Civics of Lower Merion and Narberth, an umbrella organization for a dozen or more local civic associations who share common interests and concerns. We send delegates to Federation meetings to offer Haverford’s perspective on the issues of the day, and they report back on what’s on the minds of our colleagues elsewhere.
